We are a small group of people dedicated to helping Manx and Cymric cats/kittens in need throughout Australia find loving, cat-safe homes, irrespective of whether they require Rescue from Pounds, or new homes due to other circumstances. We ask that people who have Manx and Cymric cats or kittens in need, or requiring new homes to please contact us direct at Manx Rescue Australia as a first option, before placing them with Pounds or Animal Welfare Agencies. We believe it is in these cats and kittens best interest to be placed promptly into foster homes, or adopted, thereby avoiding the stresses of being put into Welfare/Pounds, where the possibility of Euthanasia may exist in the event they are not Adopted or Rescued Manx and Cymric are intelligent, mellow, friendly and even-tempered cats. They are affectionate, fun-loving and active and get along with other pets. Many people call the Manx and Cymric the "Dog Cat" because of their strong desire to be with their people, as well as loyalty to them. They form strong bonds with their chosen people. Manx and Cymric cats and kittens, adopted through Manx Rescue Australia are available to approved homes for a modest Adoption Fee, to help defray the costs of desexing, microchip implants, vaccination and worming etc. Our Website is www.manxrescueaustralia.com
