ACT Rescue and Foster (ARF) Inc. is an incorporated association of people in the Canberra (Australia) and surrounding region who rescue dogs from euthanasia and foster them temporarily in our own homes for as long as it takes to find them loving, permanent homes. All ARF dogs are microchipped, desexed, C5 vaccinated, on heartworm prevention, wormed, and health-checked. To help cover these costs, ARF asks for an adoption fee contribution of $300 (incl GST) per dog (or $150 (incl GST)) for dogs over 8 years old) plus any donations people may wish to make.
