Please complete our Adoption application form. Our Adoption Committee and foster carer will assess this against the needs of the animal you are applying for. If the Adoption Committee and foster carer/s thinks you may able to provide a great home for the animal you have applied for, a representative will call you and have a chat on the phone. The next step is to be invited to a personal interview (in Bendigo) where you will meet your prospective new family member.

All going well, an adoption can take place on the day. If the potential new home is local to Bendigo, we have the option to 'trial' first, especially with cats if entering into a home where there is an existing cat / cats.

BAWCS takes back any animal that does not work out for whatever reason, in fact, we insist that the animal comes back to us and is not to be transferred to any other party if the adoption doesn't work out regardless of what time has elapsed.
