About Tommy
Darling Tommy has a huge heart - full of fun and love. He is a special needs kitty, he has a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia.
Cerebellar hypoplasia usually occurs as a result of the mother being infected with feline parvovirus during pregnancy. The result is the kittens cerebellum - the part of the brain that controls balance and coordination - is underdeveloped at birth, resulting in a uncoordinated and wobbly gait. Tommy’s CH is classed as moderate.
Tommy's fine motor skills may be off kilter but that doesn’t stop him playing! He doesn’t know any difference and is enjoying life to the max -like any kitten!
He needs a quiet home, with no stairs and no outside access, and definitely no balcony.
Tommy would be delighted to find a kind and understanding human whom he can cuddle and love. He does love other cats and enjoys playing with them just like any kitty.

Medical notes
Tommy is special needs, he has a condition called cerebellar hypoplasia.
The symptoms of cerebellar hypoplasia include having a wobbly head carriage and occasionally a wonky gait. The good news is that kittens and cats can live long happy lives with this condition and more often than not learn to adapt to their condition and improve slowly over time. They need indoor only quieter homes — other pets are generally fine so long as they are not too rambunctious — and the normal amounts of TLC. It is important to note that kittens and cats with cerebellar hypoplasia are not in any pain or discomfort with their condition
