About Mirah
Mirah is a beautiful and affectionate puppy. She is a cuddle bug who loves to curl up with her foster carer on the couch for cuddles. If you are sitting on the lounge she will come over and ask to come up and then proceed to snuggle into your neck. She is friendly with people and enjoys getting pats but she can be a bit timid when first meeting strangers. Mirah is a playful puppy! She loves to play with toys and enjoys romping around the yard exploring everything. Mirah also enjoys treats such as kongs and chasing a ball.
Mirah is in care with one of her siblings and an adult dog. She is playful with other dogs and also enjoys snuggling up with them for nap after lots of play. As she is just a young pup, Mirah will require ongoing positive socialisation with other dogs to ensure that she grows up a social and happy girl. Controlled play dates with known dogs will be an ideal start. It is expected that Mirah will grow to be a larger medium sized dog (around 18-25kg at a guess) and be a moderately active dog who will require decent daily exercise.
During her time in care, Mirah has been starting to learn her basic manners. She is working on learning not to jump and mouth people but forgets this when she is overexcited. She can sit and walk on a lead and is learning stay and come. It is very important that her new family are committed to continuing her training. Puppy school will be a good start but should also attend obedience classes on top of this. She will need consistent and clear guidance for success. Mirah is crate trained and travels well in the car. Like any pup, she will require further socialisation out and about in the big world at a pace that is suitable for her so that she does not become overwhelmed.
We are looking for an experienced home where Mirah will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. She will require a home with another confident and stable adult dog who can play with her and show her the ropes. Mirah should be allowed inside the home to be with her humans and will need a warm comfy bed inside to sleep on at night. Mirah has not been exposed to other types of pets at this stage; however, in the right hands and with the right introductions she should be able to be integrated with other types of pets. Due to her tendency to get overexcited easily, she will only be rehomed with older dog savvy children (15+ ideally) that can assist with training.
If you would like to make this stunning girl a part of your family then the first step is to complete a Dog Adoption Enquiry form on the Fetching Dogs website.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
