About Harriet
Hi, I am Harriet and Ive been told that I will get a lot of interest due to my age. However there is a lot to know about me and I have to go to a very particular home to ensure that I grow into a confident big dog.
I came into care at 12 weeks as a very scared puppy, the lovey ladies at the rescue were very concerned with my behaviour in my previous home and wanted to give me a chance at life.
Therefore my strict requirements are:
* a quiet home where I will be give time and space to adjust, to not be forced into meeting strange people and be overwhelmed with the outside world.
* a calm sociable fur brother, I really need a companion who can guide me and give me confidence.
* a home willing to continue crate training
*a home willing to follow the strict instructions of my Behaviour Vet
* a home that will continue to invest in my behaviour and future and not flood me by taking me out and about and put me in scary situations.
* most importantly I need a patient owner.
Don't get me wrong, once I learn to trust my new human friends, I am your typical crazy puppy who likes to get up to mischief. I LOOOOVE to play with my current foster brother and even known to play with the cats.
Please don't look at my photo and base your application on the fact I am a cute puppy, I am a commitment and I do not want to be moved around. I am the type of puppy who will become the type of dog that you mould me into. Without proper management and understanding I could easily become fear aggressive.
If you think you might have what it takes, please fill out an application and please note I may need several meets to build up my confidence around you. But it will be worth your while.
As like most Danes, I need a home with minimum 5 foot fencing.
Medical notes
Harriet will be adopted on a strict desex agreement. Ownership will not be transferred until she is desexed at an older age.
