About Ivy
Ivy is an absolute sweetheart, who loves attention and affection. And sleep. She gets along well with all other doggies, and is truly your shadow - she will follow you anywhere! Ivy has had a tough life and sometimes looks tired and over it all, but she is coming to life more and more each day. She is a total charmer, and everyone loves her.!!
Ivy’s ideal forever home:
Ivy will suit any home where she will receive love and attention. She is not overly active, but enjoys going for walks. So, a more sedate lifestyle would suit her perfectly.
Ivy’s story:
Ivy was used purely for breeding before coming into our care. When her original owner/breeder was finished with her, she was given away with the intention of being someone’s pet. Her breeding days were supposed to be over. But this selfish and heartless person continued to use Ivy for breeding.
We are so, so, grateful that she has ended up in our care. Ivy is THE most delightful, adorable, amiable, easy going, little doggy and we all absolutely adore and treasure her!
Ivy’s medical history:
Ivy has endured multiple pregnancies and two vaginal prolapses. However, she does not appear to have any ongoing issues relating to this. When she arrived into our care she had chronic skin and ear infections, and a corneal ulcer. All of which had gone untreated. With treatment, the eye ulcer has resolved, as has her skin and ear infections.
Ivy is still being treated for skin allergies, which will most likely be an ongoing issue requiring treatment. The skin folds around her "tail" will also need to be monitored - cleaned and kept dry to prevent future infections. Otherwise, Ivy is perfect!
Ivy is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas, ticks, heartworm and intestinal worms.
More about Ivy:
This little girl is as sweet as they come. She has lived a miserable life so far but is still gentle, loving and trusting. She has never known a true “home”.
Ivy deserves a home and family, where she will be pampered and loved and treated like the little princess that she is!

It can sometimes take a little while for us to process and assess all of the applications received. So, please be patient. If your application is assessed to be suitable for the pet you are applying for, we will be in touch to arrange a yard check, or equivalent. Once yard checks are completed, we will then arrange a meet and greet. If the meet and greet is successful, then the official adoption process will begin!!
