About Joy
Hi there,
My name is Joy. I came to the RSPCA as I was lost and couldn't find my way back home. Don't be alarmed though as the lovely RSPCA staff have been taking great care of me.
When I came into the shelter I was a little shy, as there was a lot of scary noises in the outside world. The staff here thought it was best to trial me in a foster home to see how I would go.
At first when they took me home I was a little shy, I used to like hiding in carboard boxes, or the tall scratcher tree they gave me. It took me 2 weeks to adjust but when I did they said I started to show my true personality and become more confident. They advised chicken one me over! My foster carers said it is now time to find me a forever home.
I do however need to be an indoors only cat as I have recovered from both the cat flu and calicivirus and I would hate to spread this to other cats who may roam!
If you wish to adopt me then I believe patience is key. I promise I will fit in like a glove, I just need time and of course a nice cosy indoor place to call home. I am affectionate and love to sprawl out on a couch.
If you wish to know more about me please see front counter.
Love Joy x
