About Teddy
Teddy is an adorable and cuddly 3 and 1/2 year old male Greyhound who is now looking for a pet home after being a racing dog.
A beautiful smile, inquisitive look and an affectionate sniff and tail wag is what is waiting for you here at BARC if you were to book a meet and greet with this loveley boy.
Looking for a home which understands that this boy is not long out of racing and will need to a situation patient and welcoming, whilst allowing him to find his feet in a home with no cats, pocket pets or very small children.
Great around medium to larger sized dogs Teddy is very social and would love to get out and about to meet other dogs in on lead situations. He requires minimal exercise with a walk in the morning and night being enough to keep him fit, active and happy. Teddy really loves his toys and food and can sometimes be a little possessive over his favourite, hence he will need someone willing to do a bit of training with him in regards to guarding.
Ready to become a pampered pet teddy is interested in finding out what a couch and a queen size bed actually are, he would be keen to have you as a room mate and show him the ropes of being a pampered pet.
Available to meet and adopt 20/01/21

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
