About Damo
G'day, Damo is my name and being a super awesome loving greyhound is the game.
If you are looking for a dog you don't have to bend down to pat, who can eat standing at the dinner table with you (not that this is to be encouraged) and can then roll himself into the smallest ball in order to fit on the couch or in that small space left in your bed then Damo may be just the dog for you.
Attractive on the eye with his tiger patterning this boy wants to be treated like a KING and deserves nothing less than the best that life has to offer. Although still young and super fit Damo only requires brisk walks morning and night to keep in pristine condition.
Best suited to a home with teenage children or perhaps an empty nest where he can be the only fur baby, Not suited to a home with small dogs, cats, pocket pets and possibly poultry just yet. Damo would make an excellent companion for someone working from home or retired and looking for someone opinionated to talk to.
Damo has proven quiet a sociable dog in our care and spends his days in playgroups with other medium to large sized dogs. He would love to get out and about and interact on lead more with other dogs to increase his socialisation skills.
If you think this boy may be just the pointy nosed individual missing from your life then please call BARC on 5441-2209 to arrange an appointment.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
