About Loki
Meet Loki! This handsome husky is the king of his castle - he is intelligent, respectful and takes tremendous care of himself. He is a very clean boy who requires regular brushing with a de-shedder and gets professionally deshedded a couple of times a year. He also respects his space by going to the toilet on the grass or around the side of the house, never where he sleeps or eats.
This social boy attended puppy pre-school and has spent time with a similar-aged german shepherd when on holidays with no disagreements - quite a pleasant boy!
Loki is gentle with everyone including strangers, he is an affectionate doggo and prefers company of people around him. Sometimes he doesn't realise his strength when giving him a run or chasing him around, and can have a tendency to jump up. He can also be a somewhat challenging walk companion when other dogs are nearby as he pulls away wanting to play with them. Loki being a husky, has a predatory drive towards small animals and previously has guarded his territory against possums, mice, snakes and a bat. He would be better suited to a family who can be stern but patient with him in a controlled environment and show him the attention he requires. Loki is unfamiliar with cats so his ideal home would preferably have no resident cats or young children due to his strength.
Loki lives outside most of the time and sleeps under the patio. When inside, he will walk around the house for 10 minutes before finding a corner to curl up in, although sometimes he may take his chances by running off with kids plush-toys to play with.
This healthy boy needs a well-balanced diet to keep him happy, opting for dry food most days and the occasional chicken leg as a treat - and don't forget the daily dental chew stick!

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s owner - the person who knows them best!
It’s a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
From here, the owner will be in touch with you to chat a bit more about their pet, and if they feel your home is the best fit, they will arrange a ‘meet and greet’ for you all to get to know each other.
Should this prove successful, arrangements will be made for the pet to move straight from its current home into yours upon payment of adoption fee. Change of Ownership paperwork will be completed, vetwork history will be provided and your new family member will be snuggled on your couch in no time!
