About Azzy
Azzy has recently come into care with 2 other cats of 9 years of age. She was from a neglected situation and handed into a vet for boarding for 2 weeks last September and never collected. The vet surgery have made her surrender the cats to us. Azzy is 9 years of age and very pretty. She is slowly being groomed and has been washed to get all the flea dirt off her. We have done blood tests on her, we revealed she is well and in keeping with her age. She will hiss at a new person, but can be picked up and hugged. She loves the vet nurses that are caring for her. We feel she will blossom in a safe home and make a lovely addition to a single or couple home. We feel a home with children wouldn't be right for her, as she has never experienced children.

Before Adoption:
Before adopting a new pet, ensure all family members understand that a pet is an emotional and financial commitment that you need to be prepared to love, house and keep safe for the next 15 to 20 years. This means premium nutrition, preventative health care, regular veterinary check-ups and keeping them inside or only having access to a cat proof area or yard. Pet insurance with accident and illness cover gives you piece of mind knowing your pet can get the veterinary care they may need and you don’t have to worry about if the expense.
We start off by either emailing you our adoption questionnaire or having a chat on the phone to get some details about who you are and what you’re looking for in a feline companion. Next step is to organise a meet and greet. Depending on your location, we bring the feline/s to you or you can come and visit the orphanage. There is usually a 24 hour wait from the meet and greet to collecting your new family member so everyone has a night to think things over and so you have a chance to get your home repaired. If all goes well and everyone is happy, the adoption paperwork is signed and you collect your new family member.
All adoptions are subject to a two week settling in period. If for any reason your new addition is not suited to your lifestyle, you are welcome to return them for a full refund of the adoption fee.
After adoption, we continue to provide ongoing advice and support in order to help you care for your new family member. To find out more about any of our orphans, please contact Casa or Alexandria at Kittie Kat Rescue, after the settling period we will always take back the cat no questions asked.
