About Ruva
With her adorable good looks and happy personality Ruva is bound to attract attention wherever she goes. This little girl is cheeky and playful. She loves her squeaky toys and those with bells in them. When playtime is over, it is time for cuddles. Ruva gives lots of kisses in return for the pats and cuddles she gets.
Ruva has been in care with one of her siblings and another dog. She is a friendly and happy puppy with other dogs but does get a little overwhelmed if another dog is too rough with her or if people approach too quickly. As with any young puppy, Ruva will require ongoing positive socialisation in controlled settings to ensure that she continues to grow up a happy and social puppy. Her new owners will need to advocate for her out in public so that her adoring public fans don’t become too much for her.
When fully grown Ruva is expected to be quite an active dog as she has got some working breeds mixed in her. This means that she will require at least one substantial walk a day to meet her physical needs. She is also a smart girl who will need mental stimulation as well so her new family should have a plan for that. Training will be an important part of Ruva’s upbringing so her new family must be very committed to this. Puppy school will be a good start but not enough for Ruva. Further group obedience classes will be required so that she can reach her full potential.
We are looking for an experienced home where Ruva will be a part of the family and included in the daily activities and outings. She will require a home where someone is home most of the time and/or with a friendly and playful doggy companion who can keep her busy and show her the ropes. Ruva should be allowed inside with the family and will need a warm comfy bed to sleep on inside at night. She is currently living with a cat and is learning good manners with her feline friend but any introductions to other pets should be done with supervision and appropriate guidance. Ruva is best suited to a home without children or with older dog savvy children (>12yo) who can take part in her training as she can become overwhelmed by the young ones. It is expected that Ruva will be a larger medium sized dog (around 20-25kg).
If you would like to make pretty girl Ruva a part of your family then you are welcome to apply by completing a Dog Adoption Enquiry Form on the Fetching Dogs website as the next step.

Don't see a breed attached to one of our dogs? That's because we don't breed label dogs of unknown genetic history. We can't guess at breeds but that's okay, because we can tell you about the dog's individual personality, character, and behaviour.
