About Gracie
Introducing Gracie ❤
Gracie is one of our Emergency Pound save dogs that arrived into care just before Christmas.
She is chipped as a 2 year old Wolfhound cross – she is medium size
Gracie seems much younger and is very sweet and puppy like in her demeanor but maybe she is just living her puppyhood now.
If you have been waiting for some joy in your life - Gracie is the one for you.
She just radiates love this girl.
Gracie has had a rough start to life and arrived with raw, sore paws from too long on hot concrete and some skin irritations.
There have all cleared up and she is ready for her forever home.
A Couple of requirements to note –
Gracie does not want to be in a household where she has to socialise with pigs - she has had some early contact with them and isn’t a fan - that seems a reasonable request to us.
And no pigs ears thanks too… they frighten her .. maybe they remind her of pigs.😕
She would also like a big doggy sibling.
Whilst she has a spirit of adventure and loves to meet new folks - she finds loud noises as sacry as a pigs ear, so has been enjoying having a big brother to help her know that she doesn’t need to worry - this will be important as she continues to find her brave.
She likes other dogs unless they greet her with barking as she considers that rude and unnecessary and keeps her distance.
Not much of a barker but is a definite conversationalist - and enjoys a chat.
Whilst still in the puppy stage she isn’t too destructive - but does have strong interior decoration sensibilities and will gently rearrange items in the house until they are to her liking.
She may nibble those that really offend her.
A little streak of white on one ear reflects her artistic streak.
Possibly a fan of Bowie or KISS as she has gone the heavy eye makeup on one side of the face and natural on the other.
Perfectly toilet trained and is most discreet about it.
Is very smart and figured out sitting on command gets you food and a few other commands.
Foodwise – likes her dog food and biscuits.. also partial to pumpkin, carrot, peas, beans and zucchini... mot a fan of broccoli.
Will eat yellow peach and apple, but not banana or raspberries.
Gracie has lots of energy and is still learning lo let go, have fun and just play with others.
She absolutely loves her toys.
Has met the local scrub turkey and chases him around for fun – not too phased by the local cats
Gracie is desexed, has been vaccinated to date and is microchipped as well as flea and worm treated.
Her adoption fee is $495 and she is in foster care in Balmoral QLD
We do not adopt Interstate sorry.
If you are interested in meeting Gracie, please send us a message – we do miss comments.
Please note – We do expect many enquiries for this baby and will only be forwarding the best matches to the carer for consideration for meets.
PLEASE, please take the time to give us as much information as you can in your message about you and the lifestyle you could offer to Gracie
Only those selected for meets will be contacted and meets will be limited so don’t be scared to sell yourself.
Thank you for understanding this.
