About Boffy
*In foster care in Rozelle, Sydney*
Boffy is a smart little man who is quickly growing accustomed to the luxuries of home life! Originally growing up without much human contact, he has embraced the companionship of his adoring foster parents, claiming one corner of the couch as his own and loving his belly rubs :) (See for yourself here! - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QdXeokf0zo&feature=youtu.be)
Independent by nature, Boffy enjoys sunbaking on the windowsill watching the world go by and waiting for his favourite treat. H's super curious too, and has a great old time playing with his toys. Cat wands are his favourite, but he also has a soft spot for anything that slides along the floor!
He can still be jumpy with loud noises, and likes to have his own space to hide when it all gets too much, but this gorgeous guy is coming out of his shell more and more every day.
Like all Maggie's pets, Boffy is microchipped, desexed and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: I'm looking for a patient and understanding person, couple or family who can spend some quiet time with me, especially while I'm settling in. I'd really love some secure outdoor access too, if possible! - a cat enclosure, an enclosed courtyard or even just some supervised garden visits would be amazing.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I'm still really young and definitely play like a kitten! You'll need to be prepared for daily zoomies, and spend some time hanging out with me and my toys :) Usually I like an enthusiastic play session before you go to bed, them I'm happy to snooze the night away.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Young kids are kind of scary as they can be a bit loud and unpredictable, but older, gentle children who will respect my boundaries are likely to be a good match.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I may act tough on first meeting - but it took only two days before me and my feline foster brother were best buds! I think I'd love a home with another young, active cat, especially if they're the confident type and able to show me the ropes. I haven't had the chance to meet any dogs yet.

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
