About MJ & Harley
👯♀️ SOUL SISTERS LOOKING FOR LOVE 👯♀️
MJ:
Hello, my name is MJ. You'll have to excuse my flat ears and intense little face, I'm actually just very scared right now. I haven't always had a great life and my last few months have been especially hard, so I feel worried a lot of the time. My kittens fell sick while we were in foster care. My babies were suffering with aspiration pneumonia and cat flu, and even though they tried their very best, two of my babies passed away right in front of me. After that we were sent to The Mad Catters to live with another foster carer who had a big machine that made lots of noises. I was so scared at first and I really didn't want to leave my crate, but hearing my babies cry made me come out to see that they were okay. I found them inside the machine, and my foster carer told me it was the only way we could save them. I trusted her, and even though I was so very scared, I still sat right beside her as she fed my babies and gave them medicine. I have become quite close with my carer, but I do still feel very scared inside, so I'm taking baby steps at the moment. My kittens are all better now and are looking for homes, but I also need a home! And I hope that maybe one day soon I can meet the perfect people who will understand that I have been through a lot and help me to relax.
HARLEY:
Hello, I’m Harley and I’ve been asked to tell you a little bit about myself. I used to live in the bush with my cat friends until someone snapped me and put me in a strange place that she called a foster home. There is a lovely lady named Tara that takes care of me and she brings me lots of food so that’s nice! I am still a little frightened of being here but things are slowly getting better. I can happily be in the room with her, but I just don't like to be touched yet. I love my food! Like I go crazy over food! That’s probably because I didn’t always have so much food and spent a lot of nights starving when I was living on the streets. My foster mum likes to pat me when I’m eating, she says a kitty with a full belly is always a happier one. I’m still a bit worried about getting too comfortable with people, but I think I will feel much better being with someone that might have a lot of time to sit and talk with me. Harley is a timid cat that requires a quiet home. She is very cat social and loves her foster sister MJ, and will have no issue getting to know other cats. She has not lived with dogs as far as we know, but given her timid nature would only suit a home with a dog that would not harass her. Harley is suited to kids that will let her eventually come to them for affection. She is suited to kids over the age of 8 years.
Harley and MJ will be sent home on a 1-2 week trial to see how they settle in to their new surroundings.
