About Csardas C'Est Magnifique!
CPOM DOES MELBOURNE AND BEYOND ADOPTIONS!
You don't need to leave your home to adopt from us, we do our meet & greets online and bring the cat/kitten to you! How good is that?
Csardas, how could words describe thee? Thou art grey although they call you blue. Thou art Burmese, although they call you a mere cat. Your voice is unique and always heard, despite inadequately being called a 'meow'. And your looks are sublime, far from the 'pretty kitty' most people go goo over. Thine age is merely a number, thou intends to live forever... Bast willing. Thou art a pedigree blue burmese and lest none forget, you will tell them! All hail Csardas the magnificent!
... and now for the mundane stuff. Csardas was adopted from RSPCA two years ago, we have no idea how she ended up there. She's a stunning purebred burmese and was adopted with the beginnings of kidney disease. None of this has stopped her from living a full and smoochy vocal life. She was surrendered to Cat People of Melbourne Inc. due to her owner moving interstate to a property where cats are not permitted (not even royalty like Csardas!). She's currently on raw food and kidney diet food and lots of water and support herbals. She loves her pink fluffy cuddle bed, a good chat, being around her humans, not overly fond of other cats but not aggressive towards them, ignores the resident dog for the lesser being that he is, and generally has something to say about everything... so very burmese.
Csardas is a healthy raw fed/kidney diet fed cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #982009105583164, source #RE101165). She is available for adoption right now! Her adoption fee also includes her annual vaccination at one of our rescue vets. Csardas is available for adoption right now!
------------------------------------------------------
To adopt a cat from Cat People you'll be required to have a remote or in-person house check done, show photo ID & proof of address, and fill out & sign an adoption contract.
Cats from our group are all are vet checked, flea treated, wormed, vaccinated and desexed before being taken home by their adopters. Additionally, all of our cats have been evaluated for behavioural traits, fed a high-quality diet, and well socialised. Please note: all Cat People cats and kittens are indoor only, this is not negotiable.
We will communicate with you through every step of the adoption process to ensure that your experience (and the cat's) is excellent and that you are confident in your decision to adopt a feline companion. Returns are only accepted due to health issues confirmed by a veterinarian.
We only accept adoptions from people with residency in Australia. If you are on a work or student visa, talk to us about fostering with the group instead!
