About Rocky DL2592
Still under a year old, Rocky is a playful pup, full of energy.
His ideal home would be one where he will get plenty of age appropriate exercise, including daily walks and chasing a tennis ball around the back yard.
As a working breed, Rocky will also need plenty of mental stimulation. Enrichment games and ongoing training are a great way to keep his brain occupied. New to the indoor-dog life of luxury, Rocky may also need some patience with house training as he settles in.
We are seeking experienced owners who will continue to work with Rocky. His foster family have done a great job exposing him slowly to the world and he is keen to keep learning. He needs slow introductions to new situations but is so eager to please and learn.
Rocky loves kids and just wants to play with them, however, his working dog instinct is strong and does have some nippy and jumpy behaviour. For now, he’s best in a quiet household with older family members who are confident enforcing boundaries and working on training with him. He is not suited to living with other dogs and hasn’t been tested with cats.
Rocky is looking for a foster home, and can be fostered with the intent to adopt. If you’d love to welcome Rocky into your home, email DFLrescue@gmail.com today to apply.
