About Rufus
Someone tell Rufus that it's not Christmas anymore!
This cheeky boy is on the look out for the perfect forever home. A sweet 8 month old dingo X who's intelligence is impressive. A boy wanting to love and please, he is eager to worm his way into your heart and bed!
He loves other dogs and shows to be great with any and all sizes including small dogs under 5kg. So his new home MUST have another playful and social dog for him to rumble and tumble with.
He loves people and a cuddle especially so someone looking for a cuddly couch bud better apply for this hound!
He will do best with someone looking for an intelligent addition to the home as he is likely to outsmart most. So a sports home, active lifestyle home please apply within!
He's great inside and is well toilet trained, crate trained and has some good leash and basic obedience skills behind him.
He's met some cats and will chase if given the opportunity so a home without these would be our highest preference.
Secure and safe fencing to keep this handsome boy in is essential, 6ft is our recommendation please!
Rufus is kind and gentle, and he even loves kids so homes with dog savvy kids could suit him well.
He is ready to start his new journey and hopes it doesn't take too long. He's medium sized and likely to be the size of a fully grown Kelpie when he is an adult. His adoption fee is $500 and he is located in the lower hunter valley

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
