About Queenie
ππ QUEENIE ππ
Introducing her royal highness, the sweet and darling Queenie π
Queenie is a very sweet natured and loving girl, who just adores her humans π₯° She likes to sleep on the bed sometimes and shows her appreciation by snoring loudly π΄ π€£ most nights though she sleeps on the couch or her dog bed. Queenie bonds very easily and quickly with her humans πshe will need owners who can give her attention every day and let her be apart of the family. She will not cope being shut out in the yard and not be made apart of the family.
Although Queenie is good with other dogs, she prefers to be the only dog at home π She doesn't much like to share her space permanently with other dogs. We believe this is due to being used as a breeding machine at one point in her life :( Queenie loves to go out for walks and play with other dogs though πΆ she is still learning how to play properly though, as she can be a bit domineering with other dogs but she's slowly learning when she gets too rough π
She can handle being left alone during the day but she doesn't like it. She gives the saddest eyes in the morning before going to work πͺ She works those puppy eyes everytime π€£ When you get home she knows it's time to go for a walk and gets really excited π Queenie loves her walks! She also enjoys a play wrestle on the couch.
She has been tested her with all kinds of dogs and people and she doesn't seem to have any problems unless another dog growls or nips at her, then as expected she will have something to say back to that dog, but she will stop π€ as soon as she is told to π Queenie knows her basic training and she also has pretty good recall if her name is called π
Queenie would be suited to a couple or family with older kids where she can be apart of their daily activities π Someone who will take her for day trips or to friends house where she can explore and exercise π
If you would like to meet Queenie, please message for an application π
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption application MUST be filled out prior to the meet and greet with the animal.
2. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place. You must bring your current dog along to the meet and greet if you are meeting another dog/puppy, this is to ensure they get along before commencing adoption. If meeting a cat we do not recommend brining your current dog/cat as this may stress the cat/kitten out.
3. The animal MUST NOT be taken on the day unless PRIOR APPROVAL seeked, we will NOT ACCEPT the animal to be taken on the day if less then 2 days notice is given. If prior arrangement is made, an adoption agreement/s and payment must be made before collection of the animal.
4. 14 day settling in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster carer.
5. Adoption is finalised after 14 days and paperwork is sent via email.
6. All animals for adoption are kept up to date with vet work until date of adoption. Inclusive of vaccinations, monthly worming and flea treatment. New owners are responsible for keeping preventatives current.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your email within 72 hours. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: WE CAN NOT HOLD ANY ANIMALS SO PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF YOU ARE READY TO ADOPT NOW
