About Silver
Silver is a super friendly boy who just wants to be loved!
This gorgeous 8 year old boy is super cuddly, super playful and just an all around amazing cat.
Brought into care with a horrific life threatening neck wound which took 6 months plus surgery to heal and has left him with a little lopsided face, this boy hasn't let it show him down.
At 8 years old he's still super active, loving his toys and running around like a kitten street his favourite toy - da bird!
His time on the streets after being abandoned by his owners has left him with FIV, but this does not affect him day to day at all and shouldn't put you off getting cuddles from this total sweetheart.
He does need to be a solo kitty as he is quite dominant towards other cats.
Silver is just looking to be around people, he loves being next to you and just walking by you. He loves a good bum scratch, he'll roll his head around the ground and then flop to the side. He'll love you forever for temptations treats... they're his favourite! He loves being brushed and playing with wands. He cannot get enough of chin scratches!!

Medical notes
Our cats come desexed, vaccinated (1st F3 & booster), microchipped, FIV & FELV tested and will have up to date worm and flea treatments. There is a one-time council registration fee which is compulsory in NSW, that will need to be met at completion of the adoption trial. Please note their age in this ad is an estimate only. They are rescue cats and their foster parents do not know their precise age or family history and cannot guarantee their future health.
Please note that Silver is FIV+, which means that while he is immunocompromised (similar to HIV), if kept strictly indoors, up to date on flea/worm treatments and yearly vaccinations, and fed a raw healthy diet, he can still live a long healthy life. Cats with FIV rarely progress to AIDS (unlike the human virus), in fact only in 5% of cases, which means 19/20 cats will likely die of old age before anything FIV related. It is rarely transmitted to other animals (or humans) via casual contact, and only really becomes an issue if taking out pet insurance. Please don’t be afraid to adopt a FIV cat, they need loving homes too!
