On Hold
We were found with our mother we had been dumped and no-one wanted us. Mum is timid and a little shy and so are we, we don't mind being stroked. Mum has been adopted and has turned into a very loving cat. I had had very little to do with people before I came here so I am not so sure about humans so often will run and hide. I know if some someone is gentle and patient I would soon learn to trust although it may take a little time. I need a quiet home not with young children or noisy teenagers. I am desexed chipped immunised and regularly treated for parasites since I have been in care. I just want some gentle loving without too much noise.
HappyPaws Haven is fussy about who adopts these animals and where they are housed and cared for. The adoption criteria is documented as a questionnaire and strictly adhered to. We do not adopt animals to people who rent unless they are long term rental at the same address and have landlords written permission.
We ask if they have thought about the attributes they want in a dog, lifestyle, childrens ages, prepared to train, etc. We also talk about responsible pet ownership, fully fenced yards, hours unattended etc. and finally a vet reference.
