About Jemma
Introducing Jemma!
Jemma is a sassy but extremely calm 11 year old Neo Mastiff.
She acts like a true elderly lady who doesn’t love to play but very much enjoys a nice walk each day. She loves a good sniff and walks well on the leash, however does not want to say hi to other dogs whilst out, so will need humans who have experience with big dogs and live in a quieter, less dog populated area.
Jemma absolutely loves to sleep and will snore her heart out all day long, so is fine to be left home alone whilst she snoozes. She can be protective of the house and her humans, but will mostly pick up on your energy as to whether the visitors are friend or foe!
Jemma has lived with other animals before, but would definitely prefer a home as an only pet where she can lap up all the love, treats and bum scratches to herself. She is however great with people and children and knows all the basic commands, as well as being fully toilet trained.
If you have a big heart and are ready to share your home with a gentle, spunky and independent lady, then Jemma is your girl!
Please complete the short adoption application form in the attached link, please note this is the only way your application will be considered: https://homelesshounds.com.au/adopt/dogs
Medical notes
Being an elderly girl, Jemma has arthritis in her legs and so requires a home with limited stairs and one able to provide light exercise each day to keep her kit and healthy.
