About Phoenix
Phoenix had a very rough start to life. Found as a stray, she was brought into a local vet clinic with what appeared to be hot industrial strength glue poured on her head and back in a sickening act of cruelty. She was also pregnant at the time.
Despite this, she was still an incredibly brave, trusting and smoochy girl who just wanted to be loved. After a couple of surgeries to fix the wounds the glue had caused, Phoenix has made an incredibly recovery! She has some very small hairless patches on her head and back where the surgical scarring remains where the hair may never return, but we don’t think they make her any less beautiful.
Phoenix is good with other animals, and has been living with a number of other cats at her foster home where she has been recovering. If they bother her too much, she will give them a small bop with her paw, so she would probably benefit from a home with no other pets, or a quiet animal brother or sister who will respect her personal space.
Phoenix loves to sleep in the bed with her humans, and is always looking for a head scratch. She has a fabulous appetite and will come running if you shake a sachet of Hills Ocean Fish Kitten.
As Phoenix has had a number of awful experiences outdoors and now has a couple of exposed skin patches, she will need to remain an indoor-only cat for the remainder of her life. She is desexed, vaccinated, FIV/FELV negative and ready to start her new life full of love.
