Hello there! My name is Ron.
Ron loves a run, so if you're looking for a jogging companion or someone to take long walks with, then Ron is your man. He does need a secure yard with secure fences, to keep him from exploring the world he is yet to be exposed to. Everyone comments on how handsome he is - he's a real head turner. He's also very loyal and will want to spend time with his family, so someone home for part of the day would suit him best.
Ron is a smart boy that is slowing learning new things every day. Can now sit and stay (learned in a week, sometimes he's cheeky and won't sit though). He has calmed down in the foster home (was super excitable initially), also not glued to the carer anymore and does his own thing. Another thing the careers have noticed is that he is toilet-trained.
Ron is learning to play 'fetch' and is starting to get interested in toys. Carers are sometimes feeding him by putting food in coke bottles (he loves that and keeps him busy for 20 mins).
Ron LOVES cuddles with carer and also LOVES getting the lead put on him for walkies.
Fine to be left alone when carers aren't home (he's given inside and outside access when carers aren't home).
Ron is currently in foster care but if you would like to book an appointment to meet him please call the shelter on 87774445 or email us on kempscreek@awlnsw.com.au
Our Kemps Creek Shelter is open seven days a week from 10am - 3.30pm. To enquire about our beautiful shelter pets contact the team on 8899 3333 or come visit us at the shelter.
