About Tubbs
Border Collie x Kelpie mix
My name is "Tubbs" and like my name suggests, I am very food motivated. I am a very smart boy who learns quickly and have already mastered some commands like sit, and wait for food until given the command "take". I can walk on lead and know to sit and wait before crossing roads with my foster family. I'm also toilet trained and crate trained. I absolutely adore other dogs, I am good with cats, chickens, horses, rabbits and sheep. Yep I'm and all round sociable boy. I love my people too and love to hang around nearby, I would not say I'm a needy pup though as I'm happy doing my own thing. I know I'm supposed to be an energetic working breed dog but to tell you the truth I'm a bit lazy, maybe I will grow into all that crazy running around stuff.
A condition of our adoption agreement is that all dogs adopted from Chally MUST be put through obedience training, if you cannot meet this commitment please do not apply. All our dogs deserve the chance to be the very best they can be, and we will choose homes that will ensure this is the case.
IF YOU CAN TICKALL THE BELOW BOXES, PLEASE POP IN AN ADOPTION APPLICATION FOR US TO CONSIDER.
You have a large yard or live on acreage - Tubbs won’t be alone more than 5hrs- You will allow Tubbs to be part of the family and allow him access to indoors – You WILL enroll him in obedience training- you WILL provide him with daily exercise AND mental stimulation - You have experience with his breeds or have thoroughly researched them.
Applications with extensive details on the lifestyle you will offer Tubbs, will be considered. Please note if you provide basic details only, we will be unable to process your application sorry.
Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:

** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
