About Pumpkin
Playful 2-year old Pumpkin will steal your heart and your couch.
Pumpkin is a friendly and affectionate little lady who still has a good amount of puppy energy to burn. She loves her squeaky toys and absolutely adores her humans.
Pumpkin is currently in foster care with another greyhound and we are preferencing homes where she’ll have a greyhound (or other medium to large breed) friend.
Pumpkin has some separation anxiety but does much better with a canine buddy. She’d do best with a calm and tolerant friend as she is still learning her manners and is known to steal toys and treats.
Pumpkin walks well on-leash and has grown in confidence having her foster sibling Penelope by her side. She has passed the pub and café test like a true inner-city hipster hound.
Pumpkin’s new home will understand that she still has ‘puppy’ behaviours and needs further training for basic commands and house rules. However, she is toilet trained and knows to go outside. She’s food motivated and a fast learner, and Amazing Greys can help with training support and resources.
Pumpkin adores people however is still learning not to jump, or nip/mouth for affection. For this reason, Pumpkin would best suit a home with no young children/toddlers. Aside from this, Pumpkin would be happy in a busy home where she’d get lots of love and attention.
If you think your home sounds like the perfect fit for Pumpkin, please get in touch at adopt@amazinggreys.com.au.
