To begin with, Crunch can be quite timid around new people but as soon as he knows that you’re a friend he is the sweetest boy around.
Crunch loves to follow you around the house and keep you company no matter what you’re doing. He enjoys his daily walks and loves going for a run whenever there is someone willing to take him! He walks beautifully on the lead and rarely ever pulls.
Crunch also loves a nap on the couch, or the bed (or the grass or in the dirt! He’s not fussy)! His favourite games are tug-of-war and playing with the hose as he loves to show you just how strong he is and how high he can jump.
Crunch is still picking up the basic commands but has mastered sit, and seems to be a quick learner (especially if motivated by treats).
He sometimes turns his nose up at his doggy biscuits but will eventually eat them all up when he realises that’s all he’s getting for that meal! He is quite the fan of all treats he has tried so far.
Crunch has met and loved playing with children of ages 7+. Due to his size and strength he is probably best suited to children of this age and older. Crunch loves playing with his doggy foster brother, wrestling on the couch and taking naps together. He also currently lives with two cats and they coexist peacefully with each other.
Crunch would love a family with another doggy friend to play with, or people around often so he always has someone to play with or nap beside.
Crunch requires at least 6ft fencing as he can jump quite high.
Medical notes
Crunch is currently on a slow-kill heartworm eradication program that involves fortnightly medication. All medication and medical costs related to his heartworm eradication are covered by Precious Paws.
