About Morgan *On Trial*
Morgan joined us at Lost Souls Rabbit Refuge after he was found hopping around the garden of a property in Huntingdale. The lovely lady contacted us and little Morgan arrived as a baby bun into our care. Lucky for Morgan he hadn't been out on the streets for too long and was in reasonably good condition apart from some minor eye irritations. We had him seen to by our friends at The Unusual Pet Vets and his eyes were much better within a few days.
Morgan has been with us since the end of July and we have seen him grow into the most amazing little bunny. He really isn't your average run of the mill bunny either! Morgan has a very bright personality and it's very hard not to have a smile on your face when you look at him, he is just so handsome! He has such a gentle soul, big personality and at times he can be quirky and ridiculous (in a good way) too. He doesn't mind being held as he has been well handled since a baby. He is fine with being brushed and isn't fussed with having his nails clipped either. He has a short white coat which is easy care and would require a weekly brush to maintain. We have LOVED seeing Morgan grow into the most beautiful young bun and it will be very hard to let him go! We know he will bring someone so much joy as he has with us!
Food, food and more food! Morgan isn't at all fussy with his food and has enjoyed a wide variety of quality vege and herbs with some apple and pear treats! He does love his Science Selective pellets, breakfast of champions! Oaten hay is his choice of hay and happily munches all day long - He is a big hay eater! He does love his dried kiwi fruit and apple slice treats!
Morgan is just over 4 months old and has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped by The Unusual Pet Vets.
As Morgan has been a single bun his entire life, there might be potential for him to be bonded to a desexed female of similar age or very easily be a single spoilt bunny. We are looking for a lovely forever home for Morgan and know the right person or family is out there for him. Ideally, we would be looking for a home where Morgan would be indoors (pen setup) and be apart of everyday living.
Morgan's adoption fee is $185 which includes his desexing, vaccination and microchip at The Unusual Pet Vets.
Medical notes
Morgan has been thoroughly vet checked by The Unusual Pet Vets.
Adoption details
Thank you for taking the time to view our beautiful rabbits. We love them all and know you will too!
If you would like to know more about our rescue, the rabbits we have in care or if you are considering adopting one of our precious bunnies - Please contact us via phone or email. After our chat, if it sounds like you might have a suitable home we will email you through a application form to fill in (step 1).
Once we have received your forms, we will then arrange a time for you to meet our rescue rabbit/rabbits (step 2). On occasions (at our discretion) we may organise a house check to ensure that your indoor rabbit setup is safe, secure and in the long term the rabbit will be happy! An adoption fee is paid if you decide you would like to take the rabbit on trial, this is held with us whilst the rabbit is on trial in your home. The trial period is for 2 weeks but this is flexible (step 3). If anytime during the trial you are certain your new family member is going to stay, the decision is made final and we process the adoption and change the microchip details - This makes the adoption official! (step 4). On the other hand, if you have a change of mind or circumstance we ask you to contact us as soon as possible so we can make immediate arrangements for their return to the rescue, the adoption fee is refundable within the trial period.
We look forward to hearing from you soon!
