Hi, my name is Nova and I am one of 2 siblings. My foster mummy is very fond of me, something to do with my eyes that she can’t quite explain, the way I look at people. She often says it’s just pure love.
I am a small girl with a big personality, always keen for a bit of wrestling with my mum and brother, exploring my surroundings and I love chasing after my toys. I am very good at looking after my own too. When my little brother was sick, I was the first one to lay down by his side, grooming him and keeping him company.
I am very comfortable in the house and often have a lie down on my back on the couch. I love a good belly rub. Sometimes, when I’m not sure where you are in the house, I will call out and then come to you. You can pick me up and carry me around like a baby but not for too long, I like my independence. I am a real purr-machine when you give me good rubs.
If you would like to meet me please email the rescue at fostersadoptslpr@gmail.com or pm the Silver Lining Pet Rescue Inc facebook page.
(Please note: all our cats kittens are adopted as inside only)

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
