On Hold
Rex is a happy youngster. He is playful, energetic and friendly.
He has kelpie colouring with wonderful socks. He is a very lean boy, with a long slender snout. When he moves, he is very graceful!
He knows how to sit, but will need lots of training. Being smart and lively, he is always on the lookout for something to do.
When he arrived in care, he was quite yappy. It is settling down, but will need to be reinforced. He responds well to a verbal correction. He knows he's not supposed to jump up, but often forgets in his excitement to get a pat.
In care, he has met a cranky 11yo kelpie girl who promptly put him in his place and he has respected her since. He's also met a laid back 4yo boy who just ignores him and they coexist easily. He has also met another in-your-face youngster who he likes to play with.
Rex is suited to an experienced home where he will get the training he needs to become a great mate. He's a happy young thing who just needs his energy directed the right way! Any time invested in training will be rewarded - he's a smart dog.
Rex is in care in western Sydney.
