🏡🐶AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION🐶🏡
Size: Medium : 13kg
Energy Level: Moderate
Not Available for Interstate Adoption
Requirements:
• A home willing to provide an inclusive and loving environment for Zilista
• A confident owner willing to put in the time to continue her training
• A home where Zilista will be in the company of her humans for the most part
• Strictly no children, or small pets including cats and small dogs
Zilista is a chatty princess in the prime of her life looking for a special home to call her own. She is house-trained, understands basic commands and just loves to soak up all of the love and pats she can get. She has been living with other medium sized dogs in foster care and adores loves a good bout of zoomies in the yard. She would live well with another submissive resident dog of similar size and energy levels, but she does get very possessive of her humans and would also do well in an only dog environment.
If you are looking for an off-leash dog, unfortunately Zilista is not the girl for you Being a sight-hound this speedy girl loves to chase and catch small things this is why it is most important that she is not re-homed into an environment where there will be children or small animals. Zilista also has a great distaste for being manhandled without permission which further cements her need to be in a strictly child-free environment.
She has shown signs of separation anxiety and likes to think she can get away with all kinds of trouble as the boss of the house. She needs an assertive owner who can gently show ZIllista that she can relax and have someone else take charge of things for her. She has been working on gaining some manners while in care and will need some ongoing consistency in her new home to ensure she does not fall back into poor habits.
Zilista is a goofy girl and when she is not snoozing the day away, she loves to chase a ball and just lights up at the sight of any toy that squeaks! She will do well in a calm environment where her humans will take her on a nice daily stroll to keep her active and healthy.
Zilista is looking for a special new home with someone who will see her as more than just her good looks and recognise the potential she has to become an amazingly well rounded adult.
