On Hold
Lachlann was a bit of a nervous wreck when he arrived at RSPCA. It seems he had been living a pretty solitary life for some time, and was very anxious about his new situation. Gradually, slowly but surely, he has come to trust staff and volunteers and we are now seeing a dog that is excited to see us, and best of all, it's wonderful to see his tail happily wagging!
Lachie is going to need someone who can take their time to teach him that life is okay, and that they will take the lead and keep him safe. He enjoys the company of other dogs, though of course a meet'n'greet would be necessary before adopting into a home with another dog. A confident resident dog would probably help him settle into a new home.
We know he looks a bit like a patchwork quilt at the moment, as he needed to have several lumps removed, but once his hair grows back he will be a handsome chap again.
