About Harley
Our lovely Harley boy was a very regretful surrender, however his elderly owner was unable to cope with the requirements of Harley and his sibling. Though well cared for, Harley hadn’t even been out of the yard for walks for a very long time.
Harley is just delightful and is having a ball with our own dogs as well as our other foster doggies. He enjoys hanging around inside with the rest of us then going out for a run around with his foster friends. He (and everyone else!) loves to divert to the sheds and stables for a quick sniff on their off leash walks to and from the kennels.
Harley adores his humans, a loyal, smart boy who would benefit from having a family who are around more often than not. He’s still a young boy (not yet 2) and isn’t ready to simply lie around the house for the rest of his days.
It’s now Harley’s time to get out and about and explore some of his surroundings - he loves to run around and check things out as much as any not-yet-two doggie.
Harley hadn’t met cats before he came into care - a tiny growl/bark initially was his reaction to our cats, he’s more wary of them than they are of him, so he’s no threat to them whatsoever.
If you would like to be considered to adopt Harley, please tell us as much as you can (without going into huge detail please - we are time poor volunteers!)
about the home and lifestyle you can offer Harley ie. who is in your family, their work hours, other pets, outings and activities Harley would be included in etc.
Harley is in care at Moree, NSW. He is Cocker Spaniel size.
You will need to be prepared to drive up to collect Harley (a 7 hour drive from Sydney) if you are the successful adopter.
