About:
Do you need a hand getting ready in the morning? Making breakfast? How about eating it? Can you find your shoes OK? Would you like company while you watch TV? Need security while you shower? Then Bennet might be the man for you.
Unlike some men *ahem*, Bennet is happy to quietly sit nearby and watch you do the things you do without complaints or judgement. He just enjoys being near you...plus he knows that proximity is the key when it comes to receiving pats and knowing when dinner is ready. He can't miss a second of snack time! But when you are away, or engrossed yourself he is more than happy to chill in his look out spot (under the dining table where he can see everything going on) until you need his help again. He's not needy or noisy. He's got the right amount of cheek and sass, mixed in with sleepy calmness and steadfastness.
He can also win you over with his exotic looks. He takes after his beautiful Mum (who we believe was a Devon Rex mix) with his lean limbs, big ears and even bigger eyes...his tum must come from his mysterious Dad though. His coat is a mix of toffee ginger and rich orange swirls and is silky soft and clean as a whistle. Handsome, stunning, gorgeous or striking are just a few examples of how he would be described.
Benny starts out a little slow and timid, but never aggressive or harsh. A sudden appearance of someone, loud noise or lunging movement could send him running for cover but, given the right home and right family, he will show how brave and open he can be. He's worth the wait.
Bennet has grown up in a family home with an adult male cat, senior (but still a touch obnoxious) staffy, a cat-obsessed toddler, FIFO foster dad and working foster mum. He loves all his family and knows just how to play with everyone.
