About Blossum π
This adorable girl is Blossum, our 10 week old Kelpie x Koolie pup.....A loyal and beautifully mannered girl that adores her humans (especially kids) and other dogs....the excitement in her face when around kids, will melt your heart. She will be a very loyal, faithful companion and protective of her family.
Please do your research in both the Kelpie and Koolie breeds before applying.....she is certainly not a lap dog, but a girl who thrives on working and an active lifestyle.
Blossum is 1 of 5 girls who arrived in care at the age of just 2 weeks. She is currently in care with all of her siblings and spends her days at Follyfoot Childcare centre, where her foster mum works. She then heads back to her foster home in the afternoon and learns all about the routines of a home. As you can imagine, Blossum has had plenty of exposure to young children and new people coming through the centre and her little face lights up when she sees the kids. She has been socialised with other dogs in her foster home and enjoys playing with them all. Blossum has not been exposed to cats during her time in care.
Blossum has been a champion with regards to toilet training. She's doing extremely well and proving to be quite a clever little girl. She will sit, come when called and loves to please her people, which makes training super easy! Being a working dog breed, Blossum is a high energy pup and not suited to an apartment life or suburban home with an average yard. She is an affectionate girl and loves a cuddle with her humans at this stage. She's also a little quieter than her siblings, but does love to rumble with her sisters and host cattle dogs.
As with all our pups, we strongly recommend enrolling in Puppy school. Blossum will need continued socialisation with other dogs during the puppy stage and into adulthood, as well as ongoing training so that she grows up to be a well mannered and socialised girl. We believe that she will be a medium dog when fully grown. She is a beautiful natured puppy, and given the right environment weβre sure she will grow to be an extremely loyal, well mannered adult.
Blossum would be best suited to a home on acreage with another doggie companion. She will need an active family who have experience and knowledge of the working dog breeds. Active people, farmers and anyone who are willing to work their dog, either on the farm of through basic obedience training. They need plenty of mental stimulation as well as physical exercise and NOT suitable for a small suburban yard. If you have an interest in agility or tracking and endurance work, Blossum would be well suited to that lifestyle.
.
Blossum's vet work is almost complete, so it's time for her to find a family of her very own. If you think that she would fit in perfectly to your home and lifestyle, please send us through an enquiry! She is located in Buff Point on the Central Coast NSW.

Adoption details
If you would like to express interest in adopting, we ask that you send through some info about yourself, your family and home, if you rent or own (rental agreement required if renting and rates notice required if you own) and what you can offer this gorgeous baby. Our aim is to find the best homes for our babies, not necessarily first in best dressed, so a good detailed application will make you stand out from the rest.
Once we have received your email outlining the above, those who we feel may be suitable, will be sent an Adoption Questionnaire to complete. Your enquiry will then be passed onto the appropriate carer and successful applicants will be contacted via phone.
