About 3735 - Oscar
⭐⭐PRA LONELY HEARTS CLUB STAR FEBRUARY 2021 $75 SPECIAL PRICE⭐️⭐️
💚🏡 MEET OSCAR 🏡💚
Oscar is an older gentleman that is looking for a retirement home, where he can live out the rest of his life in comfort and peace, surrounded by a loving family.
Oscar is shy around people but he gets along well with other cats - with a slow introduction, a friendly confident cat could be just what he needs to feel settled. Oscar would be best suited to a home without young children as they may be unsettling for him, however he may be ok with older children that will respect his boundaries. There is a dog in Oscar’s foster home but they have not met face to face yet, so we are unsure how he would be around them.
Oscar will need a forever family that can be patient with him while he adapts to being part of their family.
Oscar loves his food and will accept treats from your hand. He also loves head scratches, his milk and food.
Oscar has come a long way since coming into foster care. He is now following his foster mum around the house and wanting head scratches.
My PURR-fect home would be with someone that needs a constant companion as I love human company. I like other cats too but not dogs.
Could Oscar be the purrfect addition to your family?

3735 - Oscar
Gender: Male
Breed: Domestic Long Hair
Colour: Tabby & White
DOB: 08/10/2008
Adoption Fee: $100
*Oscar’s adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, vaccination, microchip, flea and worm treatment.
Medical Notes: Oscar was exposed to Ringworm, which is a common fungal infection. He did not show symptoms and was given the all clear by the vet.
Oscar is developing cataracts which is affecting his vision. Oscar has had all of his teeth removed.
Oscar previously had kidney stones removed and requires a prescription renal diet to reduce the risk of kidney stones returning. Oscar previously had spinal trauma, likely from a car accident, and requires Gabapentin pain relief, and Actilax laxatives to help him toilet morning and evening.
Oscar has Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) which is a virus that can affect his immune system, however, he can still potentially live a long healthy life. FIV is transmitted through deep bite wounds. FIV cats can live harmoniously with other cats however slow introductions are required to ensure they do not fight.
Due to his health conditions, Oscar will need to be an indoor only cat.
🐾 Perth Rescue Angels recommends Advantage and Advocate from Elanco Animal Health for all your new furry family members' flea and worming needs.
