About Lisa
"Hi everyone, My name is Lisa!
I’m a beautiful short hair senior cat looking for my furr-ever home.
I currently live with my foster parents and they say I am the most innocent and calm cat they’ve come across - They’ve given me 5 stars for behavior and obedience!
I have the most unique meow and sometimes it might sound a little intimidating but I don’t mean to scare you. I’m not one to play with toys, those days are well behind me. I love following my foster parents around and sitting next to them, always ready for some head and neck scratches. I don’t like being carried too much but if you do, I will meow and tolerate it for a short time until I wriggle my way out.
I might keep my distance from you initially while I explore my new home, sniffing every corner. Give me a few days and I will warm up to you and allow you to give me unlimited head scratches and kisses. If you go out somewhere, I will most likely be waiting for you near the door when you come back.
I like to sleep in various places. Sometimes under the bed in my little corner, other times on a blanket on the floor. I have warmed up to my foster carers in the few months I have spent with them - I now love jumping on their bed and curling up next to them, purring away while they spoil me with attention.
I would ideally be suited to a home with adults, children are okay too, but I might be a bit wary around other pets. I need to have anti-inflammatory meds given to me once a day but don’t worry, I happily have it when mixed with my food.
It might take me a few days to settle in as I familiarize myself with my new surroundings. I promise you will fall in love with my sweet character once you get to know me and I warm up to you. I can’t wait to meet my new family so I can spend the rest of my life purring away while I get neck scratches."
Medical notes
I am a healthy older girl. My carer has noticed that I don't react to loud noises, so may be a little hard of hearing!
