About Wes & Frank
Meet the Odd Couple.
in this case it's not Felix and Oscar but Wes and Mr Frank are our resident comedians.
Wes is a 9yo Golden Labrador, born on 8 August 2011.
Frank is a 9yo Beagle, born on 21 February 2011.
Both of these friendly fellas grew up together and are very much a bonded pair.
Wes is such a happy old boy and you can be sure he'll greet you at the door of his enclosure with his favourite fluffy toy hanging from his mouth.
Wes adores cuddles and is good with other dogs. Wes pretty much ignores cats and pocket pets as he much prefers the company of Mr Frank and his humans.
Wes loves carrying his toys around to show proudly to everybody.
In typical senior Lab style, Wes is in need of a diet - but don't tell him we told you that, as food is one of his very favourite things.
Mr Frank is a distinguished old gentlemanwith plenty of life and plenty of Beagle spirit still left in him.
Mr Frank also gets on well with other dogs and has shown no interest in cats or pocket pets.
Mr Frank is very scent and food orientated and may sometimes not listen too well when something interesting on offer. He does get separation anxiety but only when away from his buddy, Wes.
Mr Frank, perhaps thinking he's really a Labrador, is also a little on the chubby side and needs to lose some weight.
These two characters do everything together except eat - Mr Frank decides to eat both his and Wes meal and Wes, despite being a labrador, lets him - they do need to be fed seperately (we're thinking Wes may sneak Maccas behind Mr Frank's back).
Whilst neither of these two are bothered by loud noises or sudden movement, we would reccommend they be kept inside during thunderstorms to feel completely safe.
Wes and Frank are such outgoing and friendly fellas, who would make a super loyal and perfect companions. They are so full of love, not to mention laughter and would love to be in a home where they are included as members of the family and involved in the day to day activities.
The Odd Couple's adoption fee is $800 and includes their desexing, lifetime registration, and 3 x training lessons with thanks to Wyong Dog Training. They are also regularly treated for flea and worms and are up to date with their vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please give the facility a call on 43044350 to make an appointment and ask further questions.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide helps the facility to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home.
Once all of your questions have been answered, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the facility unless prior arrangements are made by management.
After the meet and greet, a yard check will be completed at your home to ensure that your home and yard is suitable for the kind of pet you are interested in. Please bring to your appointment photos of your fencing also showing all gates that attach to the house.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
