About Cuddles ~ 6mo Sharpei X (On Trial 29/11/20)
Cuddles is a sweet-as-pie male 6month old Shar Pei x Staffy with so much love to give his humans. His cute face shows some little scars of the hard life and situation he's been rescued from, but you can tell he's grateful with every tail wag... and there's plenty!
He's always ready to say hello to anyone and give you a kiss if you're up for it. He also loves to run when given the freedom and learning to run a little on a lead which he seems to enjoy. He's very curious but respectful so and you can see he's smart and working things out, but he won't be far from his humans because he just wants to be where you are and will chill out all day if you are.
Give this pup some love and quality time to train some more and there's no doubt you'd have a brilliant dog for life. Cuddles will not suit a home where he is left alone for long hours of the day. He loves and craves human attention, so having someone at home throughout the day would make Cuddles so so happy!
He's such a playful pup and loves to show his humans how much he loves them and misses them when they're gone. Cuddles has been great with his young foster family but would likely be better with a family that has children older than 8+ so they can tumble play with no worries. His foster family don't have another dog and this seems fine by Cuddles, as he soaks up all the attention, but seems very eager to meet other dogs. If you currently have a pooch living with you, we will require a couple of meet and greets to ensure everyone gets along perfectly.
He hasn't had a lot of manners training in his previous life but learnt to sit on the first day and has already reduced the jumping up responds more to new commands. We discovered a secret whistle is his call to action and he comes running! We also discovered he loves a shower so looks like we have ourselves a water dog. His new family must understand and commit to Cuddles' training and allowing him to settle into his new home before exposing him to the outside world. Its very important he is given the time to learn and adjust to his new world.
