About Fred
*In foster care in Stanmore, Sydney*
A beautiful ginger-and-white lad, Fred is quickly learning how good life can be in a warm, safe home with plenty of food and playtime! Though he can be a little shy at first, he loves to play and is becoming more and more affectionate with his foster carers, although he is not currently at lapcat stage. He's blossoming into a very handsome boy but still has a little way to go with his confidence!
Like all Maggie's pets, Fred will be microchipped, desexed and vaccinated prior to adoption.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... will be calm and relaxed, with lots of nooks and crannies for me to explore! I need a home where I will be given time and space to come out of my shell, therefore would suit a home with experienced cat owners.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I really love playing (my latest favourite toy is a clear bowl) and sneaking up on my siblings! That said, I also enjoy flopping down for a nap - anywhere, anytime!
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Because I am still coming round to the indoor life, a calm home with adults or a home with older children would be the best match for my purrsonality!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I love my three brothers and sisters and spend lots of time snuggling with them, so I'm definitely keen to make friends with your resident feline!

Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
