About Sonic
**EDIT** - Sonic has had 2,500+ views and only 2 calls. Surely someone would like to give this awesome gentleman a home! He is nearing critical point at our pound and he so desperately would like to be in a family for Christmas ****
This is Sonic - our shaggy, hairy, not so young but no so old gentleman. Sonic was found wandering the street but sadly was not claimed by his owner.
We don't know anything about Sonic's past, except that he hasn't really experienced proper love from humans - he was very aloof and didn't really engage with his handlers. He has now, in our care, discovered the delights of being bathed, walked, cuddled, kissed and fussed over. He is learning that toys are something to be played with and that a paddle pool can be his own personal spa. Quite often, we find him laying in his pool, feet dangling over the edge, with a big smile on his face.
He has made some friends at the pound - primarily with younger puppies and with female dogs and likes to play with them. He is a bit of a talker and tells us all the time that he doesn't want, but needs to be engaged with.
A large dog with a large personality - he needs a special home.
We are looking for a family that will spend time with him - lots of time. He will need a securely fenced yard with a paddle pool so that he can indulge in summer. He will need to engage with humans and other dogs (but preferably not male dogs). He will need a family that will be patient and be able to teach him the things that he doesn't know.
He wants - no, needs love......
