About Sparrow
Sparrow was one of thirteen kittens we rescued during the Christmas Season of 2019.
Their mums were desexed, vaccinated and returned to the house they had moved in to.
Sparrow's sister, Cricket, contracted Pneumonia,, . Afterwards there were ongoing breathing issues which caused her to chirrup constantly. It sounded cute but she was a very sick girl. As many of the other kittens gained a healthier status they moved on but we kept Sparrow and Cricket together.
We aim to find the sisters a home together.
A home with closed in verandah or attached enclosure to house ,however small would be ideal.
An incident last week might best describe her character.
Cherie, another rescue who is eighteen months old was up on a high shelf on the verandah and crying to get down. We kept trying to indicate the small table she could jump down to but she continued to cry and stay where she was.
Sparrow jumped on to the table and looked up at her then jumped off.
Cherie then jumped down and Sparrow looked happy.
Medical notes
Sparrow was tested for Feline Immune Deficiency Virus and Feline Leukemia as are all of our cats. She was negative to both.
Adoption details
A meeting of the girls can be arranged however, afterwards, if a trial is going ahead we need to deliver the girls to their new home and advise on settling in. Allow at least a half hour for this.
A trial adoption can be two to four weeks.
