About Whiska
Meet Whiska. She is a beautiful 5 year old Cattle dog x Border Collie and has been living on the Northside of Brisbane with her foster family, which includes adults and children, along with a fur brother and sister and a small flock of chickens.
Whiska is a calm and quiet dog and has shown no reaction to the chickens. She is yet to be tested on cats but with her peaceful, yet playful nature, I would not expect there to be a problem. Whiska is learning her basic manners, she will sit and recalls well, along with waiting nicely for her food and not rushing through doors. With a bit of a rough start in life, Whiska is nervous around other dogs and is looking for a family who can help build her confidence and show her that life can be good.
Whiska needs to be in a family with no young children. Whiska likes company, so another calm, playful dog would be ideal and a family member who is home a lot of the time as she can be quite vocal when left alone. She loves to chase a ball so if you have a bit of time, patience and a good throwing arm, she may just be the one for you.
If Whiskas sounds like the best friend for you, please apply!

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at http://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-form/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. A meet and greet can be arranged if both parties wish to proceed, and we also offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
