Colossus is quite a active male, before he was neutered he would often escape the playpens and be quite tricky to catch. Now he is very content to just stay around his mates and keep away from any doors, he can be nervous around people. This boy would definitely benefit from some calm company, either male or female as he is neutered.
He is long haired, but has so far managed to keep his bottom hair nice and clean. As he gets older the hair may need to be kept trimmed, this is quite easy to do.
As he is living comfortably with a herd of 10 males he must have a companion, gut stasis and a timid companion pet are real possibilities. Guinea pigs should always be housed with a companion guinea pig they get along with.
