Hi I'm Lotus, and I'm a beautiful senior girl.
I absolutely adore people and would make an amazing companion cat. I am extremely affectionate and smoochy; and am always by my foster Mumma's side. I love nothing more than to help my foster Mumma cook and clean along with snuggling on the couch to watch movies. Every night I tuck myself into bed with my foster parents and sleep through until breakfast time.
As I am an older girl, I have developed arthritis in my hips. When I first arrived at my foster home I had very limited mobility, struggling to climb or jump down from where I was. My Foster Mumma feeds me a high quality dry food, and adds a green lipped mussel supplement to my wet food each night. After 2 months of my new diet I am now running, climbing, jumping, and playing again. I love to chase my toy mousies and zoom through my tunnel.
I am looking for a quiet home with a special someone who loves to snuggle, and will continue feeding me my special diet.
I would prefer to be an only cat as other cats frighten me when they get close. I would also suit a household with older children or no children at all. I don't like to be picked up or chased due to the pain in my hips. I am happy to be around older children provided they respect my boundaries.
I'm looking forward to meeting you :)

Adoption Process
We send out our application to the new potential family and when our forms are returned we start a process called screening. When we have finished our screening and all information that comes back is approved. We do a meet and greet, sometimes more than two. If all parties are happy, we then allow our foster furkid go into your home. After 3 weeks (for dogs) / 6 weeks (for cats) sometimes more, see how everyone is going, then we change over microchip registration if everything is great.
