About Benni King Of Head Boops!
CPOM DOES MELBOURNE AND BEYOND ADOPTIONS!
You don't need to leave your home to adopt from us, we do our meet & greets online and bring the cat/kitten to you! How good is that?
Benni was found wandering the streets, battered and traumatised. He went to the pound and had a microchip! The pound contacted the owners several times but they never came for Benni, so he came to Cat People of Melbourne for foster care.
When Benni arrived he didn't know how to meow any more, all he could do was hiss and hide. Over the course of three weeks and getting vet work, and building up his confidence, Benni started to come out for food and remembered that a meow is the best way to get attention from a human. But he had trouble eating, so he went back to the vet for a dental and it was a major surgery, 12 extractions! But now Benni can eat comfortably he is a completely different cat!
Benni is now a smoochy love-bug who loves to sit on his foster carers chest, preferably so that he is touching noses with her. He also loves being picked up and cuddled, starting to purr loudly straight away. He also is quite a chatterbox when he can smell food, although he occasionally forgets his manners and alternates hissing with his meows. When he is not sitting on his foster carers chest, Benni enjoys reclining on her bed.
Benni's time on the streets have made him initially distrustful of other cats, but he will come around slowly to another cat, especially once he realised that there is plenty of food for the both of them. He would also be content as an only cat.
Benni is a big handsome 4 year old black & white tuxedo cat with a cheeky goatee. He's battle scarred from his time on the streets, but it's all healing up nicely. Benni is quite happy to be around other cats, or by himself. He is FIV+ which means resident cat can be easily vaccinated against FIV so there's no risk to either feline.
Benni is ready to find love and security with his own humans now, could you be his people? If yes, send an enquiry now, Benni is waiting to meet you!
Benni is a healthy raw fed FIV+ cat who has been wormed, flea treated, vaccinated, desexed and microchipped (microchip #900079000172961, source #RE101165). He is available for adoption right now!
