About Caviar
ADOPTION REQUIREMENTS: -- OTHER GUINEA PIGS RECOMMENDED -- PHOTOS OF ENCLOSURE NEEDED -- RESPECTFUL CHILDREN CONSIDERED --
This little darling, Caviar, was surrendered to us as his best mate had sadly passed away. Caviar is now ready to find a loving forever home, preferably with another guinea pig or more to keep him company. Caviar has previously been desexed, so he could live with other males or female piggies, provided they are given slow and controlled introductions. Clearly a well handled boy, Caviar enjoys some gentle pats and cuddles. All his handling does need to be very gentle and on his terms however, as guinea pigs are only small and delicate. Caviar could live with respectful and gentle children, but any tiny humans would need to meet him before adoption. He will need a good diet including lots of yummy veggies, a spacious hutch with a safe space to retreat, and environmental enrichment to keep him entertained. As guinea pigs are social animals, Caviar's ideal home is one where there are already other guinea pigs for him to live with. Alternatively, he may be adopted as your only guinea pig, as long as you will find him a friend in the near future.
