About Kingston
"Well hello there! My name is Kingston.
I am currently in FOSTER CARE.
I'm a chilled out, lazy man. When I'm used to my human(s), I'll be your best friend! I'll be very clingy and will love spending time with you! I might take a few days or a week or so to get used to you before I show my true personality.
When I am at the shelter, I am very passionate about ripping up bags and boxes but I'm smart enough not to destroy my bed. I love playing with toys (especially soft toys) and I make sure I preserve them for a long time. I also love to be scratched under my chin and will fall asleep in your hands.
I walk well on the lead, love going for walks (not runs) and I can shake hands like a gentleman.
I love to have my belly scratched scratched and will 'ask' you to keep going with my paw if you stop! I'm happy to be with my humans and also fine to be left alone. And of course I am toilet-trained in my foster home!
As a cheeky boy, I sometimes hide my treats around the home for my humans to find later. Some of my favourite 'hiding spots' are in pot plants and on the side of the couch.
I am looking for a forever home with an experienced dog owner who has previously owned dogs of my size. When I meet new people, sometimes I get a bit scared and I 'freeze'. My new parent(s) will need to recognise this and know not to pat me if I am scared and make sure other people follow this rule.
I am currently located in a foster home at the moment if you are interested in Kingston please call 8777 4445 if you are interested in meeting me or email kempscreek@awlnsw.com.au
