About Iris & Quill ~ 6 week old kittens
PLEASE NOTE: Iris and Quill are available to a home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast area only as they will have to be desexed at one of our local vets when they are 3-4 months old.
If the photos aren't enough, prepare yourself to meet the cutest and wildest little kittens in the world. Iris and Quill were born in our care after we took their stunning mum in from the pound, heavily pregnant. Mumma Flora is such a well-adjusted cat that it is no surprise that her babies have turned out the same way.
Imagine sitting on the floor, opening their enclosure, and a herd of confident little kittens racing out and covering your lap like a fluffy blanket of cuteness with sharp claws! In that situation, you will find Iris (calico) running to climb the nearest piece of furniture and stirring up her siblings. This little lady has a big personality and is very cheeky. She loves to run, play, and climb like all kittens but loves nothing more than cuddling with her siblings. She does get a little frightened by loud noises and sudden movements so it's nice for her to have her brother for confidence.
Quill (black) on the other hand is a chilled out dude and is the biggest of his littermates. This guy likes to adventure and find things to entertain him but when he gets bored he will return to his siblings to join in the fun! He loves to cuddle with Iris and they are a very obvious duo. They are both fairly independent and adventurous but love to curl up together, which makes them the perfect duo! They are both litter trained and have great appetites!
Iris and Quill are available to a home as a pair only as it is recommended by cat behaviouralists that kittens have a playmate and forever friend for an enriched life. All of our past adopters can attest to the fact that two kittens/cats is better than one!
Iris and Quill are available for adoption to an indoor-only home in the Newcastle/Hunter/Central Coast Area only and their adoption fee is $450 for both. They will be ready for adoption from 17th November 2020.
Iris and Quill are in foster care in Mayfield West, NSW and will be vaccinated and microchipped in the coming weeks but will need desexing at a local Newcastle vet when they are big enough, which will be covered by Dog Rescue Newcastle.
